Yes, CashTester has every CashTester product (if possible) officially tested by a National Bank such as the German Bundesbank, Dutch National Bank or Austrian National Bank.
In these test they investigate if all actual Euro counterfeit notes are recognized (100%). This test method is in every National Bank within the EU exactly the same and conform the directive of the ECB.
At the same time the test checks also if all genuine Euro otes (damaged, old and new) are also recognized. All devices that succeed on this test, are marked with the 100% stamp on this website.
So the ECB test result is only valid for the Euro!
Wat happened? There is no logo...
Not all machines are tested by the National Banks. Only machines that can judge itself (without any human interference/judgement) if a note is genuine or fake, will be tested. So all e.g. UV lamps and pens (that need a visual confirmation) are not tested.

The European Central Bank keeps an actual list with tested machines. All these machines are divided in 2 categories: 1) equipment to test on genuine/counterfeit and 2) equipment to test on genuine/counterfeit and with the functionality to check the notes on 'integrity and quality' ('fitness').

It can happen that you will not find one of our devices on this website. The reason for this is, that it will last approx. 4 till 6 weeks (after the test is done) before the test results are published.
